and Private sector school, was a prominent figure in the
development of an Inner City Education Project, was leader
of an Inner City Academy bid and headteacher of a 300 pupil
supplementary school. He is a firm believer that each child
be given the opportunity to develop to their full potential.
During his time teaching year 5 and 6 children Colin received
frequent requests from parents (many from people living
outside the Birmingham area) for help and advice regarding
their child’s transfer to secondary school, completing
preference forms, Grammar School entry and School Appeals
and it was then that he started his Assessment, Advice and
Tuition service.
